About Us
Thanks for being here! This is a space in which you can feel comfortable to explore your Yoga practice. Due to my passion for accessibility, I travel to community locations to teach group, corporate, and private in-person classes. Starting January 2025, We will be renting space at the beautiful Frequency studio at 34 Elton St, Suite 103 in Rochester, NY 14607. Intention Yoga also offers online group classes that are available weekly as well as the opportunity to schedule private classes online via Zoom. I teach all ages, all experiences, from children to seniors, and from those brand new to the idea of yoga to those that have practiced for years. I feel that it is crucial for us all to feel comfortable in order to connect with ourselves or others through yoga, so my intention is to be a guide as you explore your practice in the comfort of your own space, or the space you choose. Please contact me if you have any questions! I am so grateful you are here.

Meet the Teacher
Kayla She/her
In 2019, I graduated from college, determined to make an impact in the lives of others. I started working with children and families in a trauma-informed program. Yoga had already popped up in my life numerous times, guiding me in times of injury, both physical, and way beyond the physical. Yoga also showed up again in the way that I was teaching children and families to communicate, connect, and regulate. I decided that the profound impact that I saw Yoga make, both in my own life, and in those that I worked with was guiding me to learn more. And I'm still learning every day. My intention is always to keep learning, never letting myself become stagnant. Yoga is an ancient practice after all, so there is a ton to learn. I became a certified teacher after completing my 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training, and passing my practicum. I then completed an Ayurvedic Nutrition certification, informing my teaching further. I am currently moving through my 300 hr while teaching, committed to always keep learning and staying passionate. I take my trauma-informed background and apply it to yoga spaces to foster an inclusive, accessible, and safe environment for my students. A passion throughout my life has always been accessibility, whether that be in resources, spaces, and now, in Yoga. Yoga is for every-body and you are welcome here and you are already complete and perfect as you are.
